An eight-week reading series on the novels of Eudora Welty, a writer who found her way out of Southern Gothic by way of Chekhov’s naturalist realism and psychological interiority.

Session #6: THE GOLDEN APPLES (1949), “Sir Rabbit,” “Moon Lake,” and “The Whole World Knows.”

Format: Lecture with some discussion.
